¿Do you know it?
We begin this path at the car park of the Juan Évora Ethnographic
Museum, in Boca Tauce (junction of the TF-21 and
TF-38 roads), walking on volcanic lands along the former Tiro
del Guanche path. Soon we arrive at the zone of Chavao, in
Tágara, where one of the island’s oldest pine forests stands
and from where we can enjoy spectacular panoramic views.
The path continues heading south, and meets the PR-TF 70.2
road to Las Fuentes. Continuing along the track, further on we
will see a heliport on our right, and a bit further on, the Fuente
de Galante fountain. Nearby there is an excellently preserved
pitch oven and beside this, the shelter of Tágara.
From this point, and until the end of the path in the district of
El Jaral, we will be able to enjoy different outlooks, as well as
ethnographic resources (threshing fl oors, ovens, etc.).
This path can be followed in both directions; leaving from the
car park of the Juan Évora Ethnographic Museum (in Boca
Tauce) or from the district of El Jaral.
